The food was delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Cute little spot to eat right in the middle of Haddonfield. BYOB which is nice too.

5/5 We celebrated my sister in Christ's 52nd birthday at Verona Italian Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! She was craving authentic Italian food, especially pasta and a place that serves warm bread with olive oil and a pesto-like tapenade--Verona delivered on all fronts. From start to finish, we felt truly cared for. The service was attentive and warm, making the evening even more special. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but every dollar was worth it. The gnocchi pasta was a hidden gem--not on the menu, but the waiter enthusiastically recommended it, calling it his absolute favorite. And he was spot on! The gnocchi were like little pillows that melted in your mouth, with a perfectly balanced ricotta filling that was smooth and creamy--not rough or dry like some ravioli fillings can be. The three large, juicy shrimp on top were a perfect touch. You could tell the pasta was homemade, and as someone picky about Italian food, I was impressed! We also had the shrimp bisque, which was rich, flavorful, and comforting--absolutely delightful. But the star of the night (besides the birthday girl!) was the tiramisu. I ordered it as a surprise for her, and wow--it was the best tiramisu I've had since my mom's. That alone would bring me back! The atmosphere was warm, homey, and inviting, making it feel like a true Italian dining experience. I can't wait to return, especially for a date night with my husband! Highly recommend for anyone looking for exceptional Italian cuisine with a welcoming touch.

Came here with a group of friends and everything was a 10/10! Our waitress was amazing and had great customer service, friendly, attentive and polite. We ordered the Caesar salad, peach burrata, and calamari fritto to share. The peach burrata was my favorite. A sweet and savory, juicy appetizer that I would highly recommend! I ordered the special of the day, which was red snapper. Melted in your mouth with a strong marinara flavor. My bf ordered the chicken parm, which I may have enjoyed a bit more than mine. Great byo restaurant!

I had a lovely dinner at Verona completely by accident! I just moved to the area and stumbled into this cute and quaint neighborhood. The service was fantastic. Very cozy. Very authentic. The food was pretty good. The local wine was spectacular. The bread was and oil (maybe it was pesto, I can't remember) was very tasty. The desserts were also very good. My pasta was decent, but I'd like to try other dishes. The atmosphere was my favorite part; I'll likely be back!

Verona is an excellent, old school Italian restaurant in a town filled with great food choices. We ate here on a Tuesday night, and the whole place was packed, downstairs and upstairs, due to it being the first night of Haddonfield's restaurant week. Despite living in town for many years, this was our first time here, and we loved it. For $45, we each enjoyed four courses from a list of choices on a special restaurant week menu. Each course was better than the last! The soup and Caesar salad were good, the peach burrata very good, the bucatini all Amatriciana was excellent, and the chocolate cake was perfect (though we were bummed they ran out of the tiramisu so quickly which was what we really wanted for dessert). The true showstopper, though, was my girlfriend's stuffed ricotta gnocchi in a rose cognac cream sauce. Pillowy soft; like eating little tiny clouds, in the most decadent sauce I've ever tasted. The waitstaff was spectacular. I'm sure it was a stressful night for them, but they were composed and efficient all night, with several people checking on us frequently throughout our time there. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great night out.
